Environmental policy

We believe that a sound environmental policy and effective environmental management system should be an integral part of our competitive strategy. It benefits our staff, our customers and contributes to the well being of the broader community. We achieved the ISO14001 accreditation in November 2010.

We are committed to setting demanding targets, measuring our performance and achieving continuous improvement in minimising the impact of our activities have on the environment.

Regulatory compliance

We will comply with all legislation and regulatory requirements

Prevention of pollution

We will minimize releases to air, water and land

Use of natural resources

We will use energy efficiently and minimise consumption of raw materials, through reduction, re-use and recycling

Communication

We will regularly communicate our policy to staff, clients and suppliers

We minimise the environmental impact of our relocation services, through:

  • Reducing the environmental impact of international removals through carbon offsetting and fuel efficiency
  • Installing recycling facilities in all our offices
  • Recycling packing materials after removals have taken place, where possible
  • Purchasing packing materials made from recycled materials

We aim to have a positive effect on our community, with:

  • Fundraising events to support local charities
  • Voluntary noise restrictions around our operational offices
  • Close work with suppliers to make sure they understand their ethical responsibilities
