Company history and experience

Sterling was established in 1991. In the very early years we concentrated on developing our international moving business. Our early clients were individuals, families and corporate expatriates. Many of them still move with us today.

Our clients soon began asking us to provide a wider range of relocation services, such as home search and school finding. So, we developed a close partnership with Corporate Relocations Ltd, and acquired the company in 2000.

The merger made us Europe’s first integrated international relocation and worldwide moving service provider.

Sterling opened more offices in Europe, and regional hubs in Hong Kong and the US. We quickly grew from being a small UK-based mover, to an international moving and relocation company.

Since then we’ve gone from strength to strength. Today we deliver removals, shipping, storage, and relocation services to satisfied customers all over the world.
