Sterling manager to develop industry best-practice at FIDI

24-11-2010

General Manager (France), Arnaud Benoit, has been elected Vice-President of FIDI France.

FIDI – The Federation of International Movers - is the largest global alliance of high quality, independent moving companies. Their aims are to develop and promote best practice for FIDI companies and to ensure those companies are “movers of choice” for international relocation.

FIDI France is one of the Alliance’s 26 ‘Associations,’ which represent the interests of moving companies within their country or region. Arnaud’s appointment is in recognition of his years of industry experience and his position as General Manager of the French arm of a thriving moving and relocation provider.

Working closely with President Jean-Luc Haddad he will be responsible for developing both recommendations for global quality standards and the relationship between FIDI and relocation providers in France.

“I am delighted to be able to work at such a high level with FIDI” says Arnaud. Sterling have long had close ties with the organisation (CEO Rupert Morley sits on the Board as Senior Vice-President) and I am looking forward to using my industry experience to see what value FIDI France can add to the relocation market.”
