Changes to import regulations for Guangzhou, China

Assignees importing books to Guangzhou, China now need to submit a list of book titles in both Chinese and English.
They will need to sign the list and to submit it with their other customs documents.
This is effective immediately and we recommend that the list be prepared, at least in English, prior to packing.
Shipments which do not have this list available during clearance may experience delays and related port storage or demurrage fees.
Assignees inbound to Guangzhou will be informed of this legislation prior to packing, but if they have any questions they should contact their designated coordinator.
