The RES Forum today announced that it has appointed Sterling Relocation as its Technical Partner for Assignment Management. Under the agreement, RES members will have access to advice and support on all areas of Assignment Management best-practice from Sterling’s Global Mobility specialists.

The RES Forum is an independant membership organisation for International HR and Mobility professionals. Their founding objective was to make the lives of their members easier by creating a community that fosters the spirit of knowledge sharing, teaching and personal development. To help them achieve this goal, they engage a small number of subject matter experts as technical advisors to their members.

”We are delighted to welcome Sterling Relocation as our Technical Partner in the area of Assignment Management Services” said Andy Piacentini of the RES Forum. ”Technical Partnerships with the Forum represent an opportunity for the Forum to associate, and partner with, ’best in class’ vendors and relocation partners  - as our sole and unique partner in the area of Assignment Management Services, Sterling clearly falls into this category.”

Sterling Relocation delivers assignment management services to corporate clients all over the world. From their very early days as a high quality mover, they have rapdily expanded their service offering and now deliver the full spectrum of mobility services, from school and home search, to tenancy services and expense management. Sterling has recently streamlined their immigration offering and now coordinate visa and immigration services through a specialist team in their London Head Office. The expansion of Sterling’s office network has matched impressive growth elsewhere, an office based in Geneva, Switzerland joined Sterling’s global network in early 2011, and a new Singapore office will be operational later this year.

”We are really looking forward to working with RES Forum members,” said Rupert Morley, CEO of Sterling Relocation. ”It’s such a fantastic hub of expertise and offers a unique opportunity for knowledge sharing and benchmarking. We hope that Sterling’s many years of experience in the the field of Global Mobility will be of value to both the Forum and its members.”
