Sterling Celebrates 20 Years of Trading

The 11^th December 2011 was the 20^th anniversary of Sterling’s founding.

Staff at our Northolt Head Office celebrated with cake and champagne on Friday 9^th. The event also featured long serving members of staff speaking about life in the early days.

Sterling began life as a moving company and achieved over £1 million sales in its first year. The company grew rapidly and quickly opened offices across Europe, winning a Deloitte & Touche ‘Hot 100’ Fastest Growing Company two years in a row.

A merger with Corporate Relocations Ltd in 2000 made Sterling Europe’s first single source provider of relocation and moving services. In the last decade, the company has expanded its office network further, into the Americas and Asia Pacific, began a guaranteed home sale programme, and invested in an in-house department for the coordination of immigration services.

Sterling continues to go from strength to strength. “Our success is all down to the fantastic people we have working for us,” says CEO Rupert Morley. “We would be nothing without their dedication and commitment to impeccable service levels.”
