The move management process
The move management process includes the complete door-to-door management of each move, including:
- A pre-move survey at the assignee’s origin
- A dedicated move coordinator to manage the progress of each relocation through to completion, including collating and compiling customs documents
- The export packing and protection of all items being moved, including unpacking at destination
- The transportation of goods using the appropriate transport method (land, sea or air)
- Overseeing customs clearance
- Storage and transit cover (as required) of household goods
- Security cleared packing and moving teams
- A complete inventory of goods as packed for transportation
- Complete integration of any additional relocation services
Move management support for you and your relocating employees
Sterling assigns a client services manager to each account to oversee the global move management operation and to act as a single point of contact for client HR teams. Your assignees will have a dedicated coordinator to manage their move from start to finish. Our account staff will keep you fully informed at every step of the process. And you can also access details of your account, or your assignees’ individual relocations, online, 24/7.
